Frank Kleutgen was born in Nassau, Germany in 1827. He married a women named Theresa. After living for some time in Baltimore, they moved to Chicago in 1869. Theresa died 12 April 1875 and Frank on 21 March 1895. They are both buried in Forest Home (Waldheim) Cemetery in Forest Park, Illinois.
