Kistenbroker Residence

John Kistenbroker was born 8 February 1816 in Brandenburg, Germany. In 1835 he married Anna Roenneburg who was also born in Brandenburg on 10 April 1817. The Kistenbroker family settled in Chicago in 1847. They lived near what is now Chicago Ave. and Michigan Ave.

Anna died 18 December 1897 and John died 31 January 1904 in Oak Park. They are both buried in Forest Home Cemetery in Forest Park, Illinois.
