Griffin Residence

Mary Clare Greenwood Griffin was born in Chicago on 31 Dec 1838. Her parents were Theophilus S. Greenwood and Mary Knox. In 1844 The Greenwood family lived on Ontario Street between Dearborn and Wolcott. In 1856 Mary Clare married Homer V. Griffin who was born about 1825 in New York. Mary Clare died in Chicago on 24 Apr 1925. She is buried at Graceland Cemetery in Chicago. Her husband, Homer, died before 1877 in Nebraska.
