Meites' History records that B'nai Moshe was founded in 1897. It is first listed in the city directory in 1903 at 418 S. Paulina (which would be on the 800 block of South Paulina today). In 1906, it built a new synagogue at 426-430 S. Paulina, which became 901-903 S. Paulina in 1909. This structure is depicted on page 5O3 of Meites. B'nai Moshe is last listed in the 1928-29 city directory. It is mentioned in the Chicago Tribune as late as April 21, 1940 (listed as Bnai Moishe.)
