Bismarck Gardens

Street Address:
SW corner of Grace and Halsted
Chicago, IL

Catered to the large population of German-Americans from Chicago's North Side. The park's attractions included shady trees, an outdoor stage and dance floor with electric lamps, and plenty of German beer and music. Bismarck Gardens was renamed Marigold Gardens in 1915, due to Chicago's increasing anti-German sentiment during the WWI.
