I was baptized at St. Cyril & Methodias Church @ 50th and Hermitage Ave. in 1950. So I would like to know more about it and when it closed and merged with another parish. Where are records of my baptism and anything about my parents marriage, etc. kept.

According to the Jack Bochar's book, Locations of Roman Catholic Churches, 1850-1990, the parish closed June 30, 1990, and the records transferred to the Archdiocese of Chicago's Archives and Records Center (https://archives.archchicago.org/).

Mary, I was baptized in 1945. I don't know why I was baptized there because my entire family (mothers side) went to St. Mary's on 51st and Seeley. My mother was Rutheniun and Greek Orthodox. I only have a small paper signed by the priest.
